Pages panel

Options

The following settings are available on the panel:

• Page Type—determines whether the panel displays and manages Pages (publication pages) or Masters (master pages).
• Add—when Page Type is set to Pages, tap to add a new publication page/spread after the active page or long press to add the number of pages you require, before or after a specific page number, and to choose a master page to apply to them. When Page Type is set to Masters, tap to append a new master page using your document's default spread properties, or long press to append a new master and customize its dimensions, page layout and margins.
• Duplicate—duplicates the active page/spread.
• Delete—deletes the active page/spread.
• Spread Properties—opens the Spread Properties dialog on which page layout and dimensions, scaling, and margins can be modified for the whole document, selected spreads, or selected master pages.
• Page list—displays thumbnails of the selected page type. Tap a thumbnail to set the corresponding page as the active page, indicated by a light gray background to its entry. Long press a thumbnail for options to Delete or Duplicate the corresponding page(s), set Spread Properties, or Clear Masters applied to the page, or (for master pages only):
  • Replace Current Spread Masters—applies the master page to the active page, replacing any already applied master pages.
  • Apply To Current Spread—applies the master page to the active page, inserting it on a layer above any already applied master pages.
  • Rename—allows you to assign the master page a more meaningful name than its default value.
• Manage Pages / Manage Masters—displays a dialog from which you can duplicate, delete, and arrange publication pages or master pages, as whole spreads and/or individual pages.
• Sections—displays a list of sections in the document, and allows you to add, delete and manage sections and adjust page numbering.
