Arrange/manage layers

To hide or show a layer:

• On the Layers panel, tap Toggle Visibility on the layer entry.

To show specific or all hidden layers:

• On the Layers panel, select one of the following from the Panel Preferences menu:
  • Show—to make the selected layer(s) visible, but not any of their child layers or objects that are hidden.
  • Show All—if no layers are selected, all hidden layers in your document are made visible. If layers are selected, they and their hidden child layers and objects are made visible.

Do one of the following:

• Drag a layer entry up/down the layer stack. When you see a blue line between two layers, drop the layer to place at the indicated position.
• With a layer selected, tap Move to Back, Move Back One, Move Forward One or Move to Front on the Transform panel. Using these buttons, child layers can only be reordered within their parent layer.

1. On the Layers panel, select one or more layers.
2. On the Edit menu, select Duplicate.

Each duplicate layer is added above its corresponding original layer.

To lock layers (or layer objects):

1. On the Layers panel, select the layers or objects to be locked.
2. Do one of the following:
   • Tap Layer Options, then tap Lock.
   • Swipe left (on the layer).
3. Choose Lock from the pop-out menu.

Use the same option to unlock, or tap the lock symbol on a layer's entry. This allows the object to be transformed again.

To unlock all layers (or layer objects):

• On the Layers panel, select Unlock All from the Panel Preferences menu.
