Text Wrapping panel

Options

The following settings can be adjusted from the panel:

• Wrap Style—choose from:
  • None—Text will not wrap around the object and may be obscured.
  • Jump—Text will only appear above and below the object.
  • Square—Text will wrap around the bounding box of the object.
  • Tight—Text will wrap tightly to the object’s outline.
  • Inside—Text will wrap tightly inside the object’s outline.
  • Edge—Text will avoid the edges of the object, but wrap inside and outside the object.
• Wrap to Side (for Square or Tight styles)—controls how text will wrap around fully overlapped objects. Choose from:
  • Both sides.
  • Largest side.
• Distance from text—set the buffer space between object edge and text.
• Lock—when unlocked, you can adjust Distance from text values independently of each other. When locked, the values are adjusted in proportion to each other.
• Edit Wrap Outline—tap to edit the object's overlapping outline using the Node Tool.
• Reset Wrap Outline—tap to reset the wrap outline back to its original shape and position.
