Navigating and selecting pages

Do one of the following:

• If you know the required page's number or position, select one of the following on the Zoom Options menu¹:
  • First Page or Last Page—to navigate to the start or end of the document, respectively.
  • Previous Page or Next Page—to navigate to the page before or after the active page, respectively.
  • Go to Page—on the resulting dialog, specify the Page number, and then tap OK to navigate to that page.
• If you don't know the required page's number or position, do one of the following²:
  • In the document view, swipe two fingers up or down (or one finger if the View Tool is selected).
  • With the Pages panel open, swipe one finger up or down on its page thumbnails.
  • With the Pages panel closed, drag up or down from its icon to scroll the document view.

¹ These methods automatically select the page/spread and centre it in the document view.

² These methods do not automatically select the page.

Do one of the following:

• On the Pages panel, tap the page/spread's thumbnail.
• In the document view, with any tool selected except the Pen Tool, Colour Picker Tool, Style Picker Tool or View Tool, tap on the page.
• With the View Tool selected, set Spread on the context toolbar to the required page/spread.

To switch between current page and its master page:

• On the Zoom Options menu, select View Masters.

To switch between the active page and the previously viewed page:

• On the Zoom Options menu, select Previously Viewed Page.

The previously viewed page may be a publication page/spread or a master page.

Affinity remembers the previously viewed page's position and zoom level in the document view.

Repeated selection of this command allows you to instantly navigate between two parts of a publication.
