Importing LUTs

Lookup tables (LUTs) define transformations to be applied to an image's colors in order to achieve a particular visual style. They are managed in the Adjustment panel.

Your Affinity app can import LUTs in several file formats:

To import LUTs:
  1. In the Photo Persona or Selections Persona, select the Adjustments Studio.
  2. From the pop-up menu at the top of the studio, select LUT.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • From a category's Preferences menu, select Import LUT if the add-on is a .cube, .csp, .3dl, or .look file.
    • From the Studio Preferences menu, select Import Category if the add-on is an .afluts file.
  4. Browse to the file you want to import, then either:
    • Tap an individual file to import it.
    • Tap Select, select each file you want to import, then tap Open.

After importing

If the imported add-on is a .cube, .csp, .3dl, or .look file, it is added to your chosen category in the Adjustments Studio.

If the imported add-on is an .afluts file, the new LUT category is automatically displayed in the Adjustments Studio. You may need to scroll to see it.
