Shooting tips

Always shoot from the same vantage point for best results.
When shooting, use visual reference points to ensure each shot will nicely overlap horizontally or vertically.
If using an SLR camera, where possible:
- Use either a tripod or fast shutter speeds to avoid motion blur; blurry subjects will produce poor results when stitching.
- Keep your exposure settings (shutter speed, aperture, ISO, white balance) identical between shots to produce a consistent result.
- Try to avoid shooting at extreme wide angles as this will introduce lens distortion. If you are using a typical zoom kit lens (e.g., 18-55mm), try zooming in to its maximum focal length.

To stitch one or more panoramas:

From Affinity Photo 2's Home screen, tap New.
Choose New Panorama.
From the dialog, tap either the Cloud or Photos icon to locate your images.
(Optional) If you are using Photos to import images, tap Select at the top right to enable multiple selections. This means you can quickly select multiple images and add them all at once.
(Optional) If you have images you do not wish to include, you can disable them from the image list by tapping the toggles.
Select Stitch to stitch images together. One or more previews are generated in the adjacent Panoramas window.
(Optional) For multiple panoramas, select the panorama you want to create by selecting its preview thumbnail.
Tap OK (this may take time depending on number of images and their complexity).
