Exposure adjustment

Settings (Photo Persona; as adjustment layer)

The following setting can be adjusted:

• Exposure—controls the exposure level of the image in stops. Drag the slider to the left to decrease exposure, drag to the right to increase.
• Opacity—sets the level of visibility of the adjustment.
• Delete—closes the settings and deletes the adjustment layer, removing the adjustment.
• Add Preset—adds the current adjustment settings as a preset for use with later images and projects.
• Merge—merges the current adjustment layer with the layer immediately below it in the layer order.
• Reset—reverts all adjustment settings to default.

Settings (Develop Persona; in Basic panel)

Apply this adjustment via the Adjustments panel using the following settings:

• Exposure—controls the exposure level of the image in stops. Drag the slider to the left to decrease exposure, drag to the right to increase.
• Blackpoint—determines the range of pixels in the image considered to be pure black. Drag the slider to the right to include pixels in the range (making black tones darker), drag to the left to exclude pixels (making black tones lighter).
• Brightness—controls the lightness/darkness of the image. Drag the slider to the left to decrease brightness, drag to the right to increase it.
• Reset—reverts all adjustment settings to default.
