Lens correction

Correct images with distorted perspectives by applying lens correction. This action can be applied in the following ways:

Lens profile

Lens correction is available via the Lens panel in Develop Persona. Upon loading your RAW image, lens correction is applied automatically if the profile is available. Otherwise, it is possible to add one manually.

To add a lens profile manually:
  1. In your web browser, navigate to Lensfun.
  2. Click the green Code button and select Download ZIP from the pop-up menu.
  3. Open the folder you've downloaded the ZIP file into and extract it.
  4. Open the data>db folder.
  5. Copy the .xml file for the brand of lens you'd like to add.
  6. From Affinity Photo 2 Settings (or Preferences)>General, click Open Lens Profiles folder in Finder.
  7. From Affinity Photo 2>Edit>Settings (General section), click Open Lens Profiles folder in Explorer.
  8. Paste the previously copied file inside the lens profiles folder.
  9. Restart the app.

Your profile will now be available in the Lens Profile list.
