Grouping objects

Grouped objects remain together so they can be easily selected, moved, copied, and edited as if they are a single object.

Groups, and nested groups, can be broken apart at a later date into their separate components or objects. Ungrouping can be activated on individual groups, or across multiple or nested groups using a single command.

To create a group:

Do one of the following:

On the Layers Studio, swipe across each layer to select multiple layers, then tap Group.
On the Edit menu, choose Group.

To ungroup objects:

Select the group.
On the Layers Studio, tap Group or on the Edit menu, tap Ungroup.

To ungroup all grouped objects:

Select the parent group.
On the Edit menu, tap Ungroup All.

To release a grouped object:

On the Layers Studio, drag the layer out of the group to another layer position.

To select objects (or groups) in a group:

Double tap on the object. If the object itself is in a group, the group will be selected first—double-tapping again will select the object.
