Layers Studio (Export Persona)

About the Layers Studio

The Layers Studio is different from the Layers Studio in Designer Persona. It is used exclusively as a precursor for selecting items from which slices can be created, and manually added to the Slices Studio, ready for export.

By selecting them, they can be made into slices from the same Studio; the Studio's Create Slice option generates slices for the Slices Studio from which vector or raster images can be exported.

The Studio displays the following:

• Studio Preferences menu which offers Select All, Hide, Show, Show All, Edit All Layers, optional thumbnail checkerboarding.
• Tap the pin icon in the top right of the Studio to hide the Studio automatically.
• Create Slice—creates a slice from the selected artboard, layer, group or object in readiness for export.
• Remove—removes the slice area for that layer from the page. The object itself wil not be deleted.
• Expand/Collapse—Tap to expand/contract the layer, revealing child layers, or group layer to expand the group's content.
• Layer entry—The created layer, showing a thumbnail of objects and the layer name.
• Exportable—Tap to disable, which prevents the object from exporting.
