Tagging layers

Layers can be tagged with a color to help with organization and navigation of your document. Each layer can be assigned a single color.

Tagging provides a useful additional means of organizing layer content beyond grouping layers, as it allows you to organize a set of layers without affecting the layer order. All layers that share the same tag color can be selected at once from the Move Tool's context toolbar.

Layer Options To assign a tag color to layers:
  1. On the Layers panel, select one or more layers.
  2. Tap Layer Options.
  3. In the Tag section, tap a color swatch to assign its color to the selected layers.
Layer Options To remove tag colors from layers:
  1. On the Layers panel, select one or more layers.
  2. Tap Layer Options.
  3. In the Tag section, tap the white color swatch with the blue line through it to remove color tags from the selected layers.
