Slices panel

Options

The following options are available on the panel:

• Panel Preferences—the menu offers :
  • No JSON output—graphics are output standalone without any supplementary JSON files.
  • Xcode JSON—generates imagesets consisting of supplementary Xcode JSON files along with the exported slices for Apple icons. For Xcode UI development only.
  • Spine JSON—creates a Spine imageset.
  • Continuous Export—when selected, slices are re-exported automatically if the content within the slices is modified.
  • Choose Export Folder—sets the export folder to which slices are to be exported.
• Tap the pin icon in the top right of the panel to hide the panel automatically.
• Slice Options include:
  • Slice name—displays the name for the slice area. Tap to rename the slice using your own slice name. The slice name is used as the basis for naming exported files.
  • File format—select a file format to be exported using left/right navigation buttons, or tap to select from a pop-up menu.
  • Size scaling—select scaling options (e.g., 1x, 2x, etc.) for the export format. For raster image formats only.
• Export All—exports all checked slices.
• Delete—removes the slice area from the page. Objects within the slice will not be deleted.
• Slice entry—thumbnail, slice type and slice name.
• Hide/Show slice—tap to exclude from export; tap again to make it exportable.
• Export—exports the corresponding slice independently of the other slices.
