The panel lets you control how frame text will wrap around placed images, picture frames, shapes and even other text frames that partially or fully overlap the text.
Options
The following settings can be adjusted from the panel:
Wrap Style—choose from:
None—Text will not wrap around the object and may be obscured.
Jump—Text will only appear above and below the object.
Square—Text will wrap around the bounding box of the object.
Tight—Text will wrap tightly to the object’s outline.
Inside—Text will wrap tightly inside the object’s outline.
Edge—Text will avoid the edges of the object, but wrap inside and outside the object.
Wrap to Side (for Square or Tight styles)—controls how text will wrap around fully overlapped objects. Choose from:
Both sides.
Largest side.
Distance from text—set the buffer space between object edge and text.
Lock—when unlocked, you can adjust Distance from text values independently of each other. When locked, the values are adjusted in proportion to each other.
Edit Wrap Outline—tap to edit the object's overlapping outline using the Node Tool.
Reset Wrap Outline—tap to reset the wrap outline back to its original shape and position.
