To change targeting behaviour:
From the Commands Menu, tap Insertion Target and choose one of the following:
- Insert Behind
- Insert On Top
- Insert Inside
Targeting controls where new layers are placed in the layer stack on creation.
By default, layers are positioned:
This default targeting behaviour can be modified so a new layer can be created below the current layer, at the top of the layer stack (regardless of selection), or nested inside a layer.
