Creating new documents

When you create your new document you specify document type, dimensions and colour settings depending on the purpose of your document. Once created, you can duplicate any document.

The following settings are available:

Add New Document To create a new document:
  1. From Affinity Photo's Home screen, tap the plus icon.
  2. Choose New Document.
  3. Adjust above settings according to type of deliverable.
  4. Tap OK.
To duplicate a document:
  1. From Affinity Photo's Home screen, tap the menu icon at the bottom right of the saved document's thumbnail.
  2. On the pop-up menu, tap Duplicate.

A duplicate of the document is placed alongside the original document on the Home screen.

Document presets

To make document setup quick and easy, one of several presets can be chosen which group recommended document setup options according to how you plan to work.

To select a preset:
To customise a preset:
  1. From Affinity Photo's Home screen, tap the plus icon.
  2. Choose New Document.
  3. From the first menu, select Presets.
  4. Select Custom from the menu below.

The options will be in effect immediately.

To save as a custom preset for future use:
  1. Tap the menu button adjacent to the second menu.
  2. Select Create preset.

The custom preset is in effect immediately.
