You can quickly access common tools using a hardware keyboard, if one is connected to your iPad.
While the default keyboard shortcuts broadly follow industry standards and common use in other apps, it's possible to customize your keyboard shortcuts exactly to your liking.
You can customize shortcuts on an app-wide or a per-Persona basis. Shortcuts can be customized for tools, commands, panel visibility and blend modes, either being added as new shortcuts or replacing existing shortcuts.
Available settings are as follows:
Persona—The pop-up menu sets the Persona for shortcut customization.
Apply to All Personas if Available—When selected, any shortcut you subsequently customize for a feature that is available in multiple Personas is applied in all those Personas. When unselected, you can uniquely assign a custom shortcut to work just within the Persona selected on the Persona pop-up menu.
Reset—The shortcut for the feature currently selected in the shortcuts list is reset back to default.
Clear—The shortcut for the feature currently selected in the shortcuts list is removed.
Reset All—Shortcuts for all entries in the shortcuts list are reset back to default.
Shortcuts list—Shows keyboard shortcuts for the Persona selected on the Persona pop-up menu.
To customize a keyboard shortcut:
