Maximum Blur
The Maximum Blur filter broadens highlight regions in the image, and shrinks darker areas. It works by comparing each pixel to its neighbour and replaces darker pixels with lighter pixels. This is most useful for modifying masks.

The following settings can be adjusted on the vertical slider:
Radius—controls the intensity of the filter.The following settings can be adjusted on the context toolbar:
Split—enables the Before and After view. When toggled, it presents filter application side by side.
Apply—applies changes made.
Cancel—cancels changes made.
