The Layers panel in Export Persona lets you choose layer content or groups that you want to export as slices.
About the Layers panel
The Layers panel is different from the Layers panel in Photo Persona. It is used exclusively as a precursor for selecting layers and groups from which slices can be created, and manually added to the Slices panel, ready for export.
By selecting items, they can be made into slices from the same panel; the panel's Create Slice option generates slices for the Slices panel from which vector or raster images can be exported.
The following settings are available in the panel:
Compact View / Full View—tap to reduce the panel view to compact mode, showing just the visibility button and layer thumbnail; tap again to return to full view. Use for maximising your document view, typically on smaller iPad models.
Panel Preferences—the menu offers Select All, various options for hiding and showing layers, Show Group Thumbnails, Edit All Layers, and optional thumbnail checkerboarding (to indicate transparency).
Tap the pin icon in the top right of the panel to hide the panel automatically.
Create Slice—creates a slice from the selected layer or group in readiness for export.
Remove—removes the selected slice (as shown in the document view) from the page. The content itself will not be deleted.
Layer Options include:
Opacity—adjusts opacity of the selected layer(s).
Blend Mode—changes how the applied pixels interact with existing pixels on the layer below.
Exportable—tap to disable, which prevents the layer being included in exported slices. The layer's visibility in the document view is unaffected.
Lock—tap to lock or unlock selected layers to prevent or allow editing.
Solo—tap to hide all layers apart from the selected layer, for focused editing of objects without any distraction.
Expand/Collapse—tap to expand/contract the parent layer or group layer to reveal/hide its child layers or group content.
Layer entry—the created layer, showing a thumbnail of objects and the layer name.
Exportable—tap to disable, which prevents the layer being included in exported slices. The layer's visibility in the document view is unaffected.
