Fade

Change the strength of an effect immediately after applying it.

Using Fade option to reduce the strength of the tilt shift effect.

The Fade option becomes active immediately after applying one of the following:

Apart from using the Opacity slider in the dialog, you can also select a Blend Mode to manipulate how the effect interacts with layer pixels.

To use Fade:

Apply one of the edits listed above.
Do one of the following:
- From the top menu, select Layer>Fade (operation name).
- On your keyboard, press F.
- On your keyboard, press ++F.
Adjust the Opacity and Blend Mode in the dialog, as required.
Click Apply.
