Modifying vector brush settings

Settings

The following settings are available from the context toolbar's More button:

Properties

• Width—sets the size of the stroke.
• Size Variance—sets the amount of brush width deviation allowed as a stroke is painted.
• Opacity Variance—sets the amount of transparency deviation allowed as a stroke is painted.

Controller

• The Controller options determine the extent to which a chosen controller (Pressure, Velocity, etc.) will affect the above Width, Size and Opacity. Pick a Controller using left/right navigation buttons and tap the adjacent Ramp profile icon to optionally create your own custom profile using the ramp chart. Move nodes to reshape the non-linear ramp, add nodes to the ramp by tapping on the line, or select a node to remove it using the delete button. Enable the Linear button for straight lines between all nodes; If disabled (non-linear), nodes are connected using smooth curves.

Texture

• Head Offset—sets the transition point at which the head section becomes the body section.
• Tail Offset—sets the transition point at which the body section becomes the tail section.
• Body—determines the method with which the central section is drawn along the length of the stroke.
• Corner—determines the method used to control how corners are drawn within the stroke.
• Preview window—Drag the red dotted lines on the preview window left or right to set the length of the brush body. As the lines are repositioned the Head and Tail Offset values will update.
