Styles

Instead of having to create effects, fills, colours and properties for your design from scratch, the Layer FX Studio can be used to apply a pre-designed style to your object (shape, artistic text or frame text). If you want to save a combination of the above for future use, these can be stored in the Studio as a custom style.

To apply a style:

Select an object from the Layers Studio.
From the Layer FX Studio (Styles section), select a category from the pop-up menu.
Tap a style thumbnail.

To create a custom category:

Tap Studio Preferences and choose Add Category from the menu.

To rename a styles category:

Choose the category you want to rename from the category pop-up menu.
Tap Studio Preferences and choose Rename Category from the menu.
Type a new name for the category in the dialog and select OK.

To save a style:

Choose a Styles category to save the style into.
Select the object whose style you want to save, tap Studio Preferences on the Layer FX Studio, then choose Add Style from Selection from the menu.
